Chadderton Hall Park

Meeting Point: Chadderton Hall Park car park off Haigh Lane, off Chadderton Hall Road.

 

Class Times: Monday and Wednesday at 7pm.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Heaton Park

Meeting Point: Enter the Park from the St. Margaret's Road entrance. Approx 50m in to the left there is a car-park. The car-park is referred to as either the 'St. Margarets' or 'Active Zone' car park. This is the meeting point.

Parking: Usually free, except for Saturdays during the warmer months when there will (sometimes) be an attendant there to collect £1 as you enter the car park.

Sat Nav: M25 2SW -approx.

Public Transport: Take the Metrolink from Manchester City Centre in the direction of 'Bury' to 'Heaton Park'. Then walk through the park or along the main road to the meeting point. A return costs £3. Or... take the frequent 135 bendy bus from Lever Street (stop E) -just off Piccadilly Gardens which will drop you off opposite St. Margaret's Road.

Class Times: Saturday at 10am, Sunday at 11.30am.

Moss Bank Park

Meeting Point: Car park as you enter the Park from Moss Bank Way A58.

Sat Nav: BL1 6NQ -approx.

Public Transport: Bus 501 from Bolton.

Class Times: Tuesday and Thursday at 7pm. Sunday at 10am.

 

 

 

 

 

Pennington Flash

 

Meeting Point: The second car park within the park. Drive into the park, follow the road over the small bridge and meet in the car park on your left hand side, near the information centre.

Class Times: Monday and Wednesdays at 7pm.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Bruntwood Park

Meeting Point: Car park on the left at the top of Bruntwood Lane.

Parking: Pay and Display -70p for an hour.

Sat Nav: SK8 1HX -approx.

Public Transport: Bus 157 from Piccadilly Gardens calls at Universities/Ox Road, Rusholme, Fallowfield, Withington, and Didsbury before going through Cheadle and stopping right outside Bruntwood Lane. Timetable here [PDF]: Get off next to the 'Cheadle Village Hotel & Leisure Club'. Buses 309/310 from Stockport.

Class Times: Monday and Wednesday at 7pm. Friday at 10am and 6.30pm. Sunday at 10am.

Platt Fields

Meeting Point: Gate to Platt Fields off Platt Lane opposite St Ives Road.

Parking: Free on Platt Lane.

Sat Nav: M14 5NH

Public Transport: The Park is very close to the centre of Rusholme. Numerous buses serve the Wilmslow Road corridor. Take any of these and walk along Platt Lane for 5 mins.

Class Times: Tuesday and Thursday at 7pm. Saturday at 12pm.

Sale Water Park

Meeting Point: Deckers Restaurant car park, off Rifle Road, Sale Water Park, M60 J6.
NB: 'Pre-blue' classes meet in the first car park which is on the left hand side of the road opposite the cafe.

Parking: Free.

Sat Nav: M33 2LX -approx.

Public Transport: Difficult. From Chorlton walk down Hardy Lane off Barlow Moor Road and at the end of this road you can enter the park. Follow the track along and you will pass Jackson's Boat Inn. Continue along Rifle Road and follow the signs for Deckers Restaurant. Or... Get the Metrolink to 'Dane Road'. Walk along Dane Road until Old Hall Road. Follow this road to Rifle Road and the entrance to the Park.

Class Times: Tuesday at 7pm, Wednesday at 5.30pm, Thursdays at 6.15pm and 7.30pm (beginners) and Saturday at 10am.
